Debris Removal in Portland, OR , Fast, Fair & Locally Trusted
When that renovation project leaves your driveway looking like a war zone, or storm damage turns your yard into an obstacle course, you need debris removal that actually shows up when they say they will.
I’ll be honest with you. I’ve been hauling junk and debris around Portland for longer than I care to admit, and I’ve seen it all. Last month, we helped a family in Laurelhurst who’d been staring at a pile of construction debris for three weeks because their contractor’s “guy” kept ghosting them. The pile had become a neighborhood eyesore, and they were getting sideways looks from the HOA. We had it cleared in about four hours.
That’s the thing about debris removal in Portland. Everyone says they can do it, but when you actually need someone reliable? That’s where most companies fall short. At Metro Junk Solutions, we’ve spent three decades building our reputation one driveway, one yard, one satisfied customer at a time. My family started this business back in 1995, and we’ve stayed committed to something pretty simple: show up on time, charge fair prices, and treat every property like it’s our own.
Whether you’re dealing with construction waste, storm debris, or just years of accumulated stuff that needs to go, our debris removal service covers everything from Southeast Portland to the West Hills. We know these neighborhoods because we live here too. And honestly? There’s something satisfying about helping neighbors reclaim their space.
What Makes Us Different
In my experience, people stick with us because we’re local and we care about doing things right. No hidden fees, no runaround. When you call, you talk to someone here in Portland who can actually help you.
Construction debris is probably our most common call. Drywall, lumber scraps, old fixtures, roofing materials, concrete chunks… basically anything left behind after a remodel or teardown. I can’t tell you how many times contractors have called us to clean up after their crews because, let’s face it, they’d rather focus on building than hauling. We work around your schedule too, which matters when you’re trying to get a certificate of occupancy or just want your driveway back.
Storm Damage & Yard Debris
General Household & Property Cleanouts
Our Eco Friendly Approach
One thing people always ask: do you recycle or just dump everything? Good question. We sort what we pick up and divert as much as possible to recycling centers and donation facilities around the metro area. It takes more time on our end, sure, but it’s the right thing to do. Plus, Portland folks care about that stuff, and honestly, so do we.
Our trucks can handle pretty much any residential debris load. For commercial projects or really large cleanouts, we can bring additional equipment or schedule multiple pickups. Whatever works. The goal is simple: you point, we load, you get your space back.
Why Portland Trusts Metro Junk Solutions
Three Decades of Local Service
Look, thirty years in business around here means something. We’ve watched Portland grow from a smaller city into the metro area it is today. We’ve worked in neighborhoods before they were trendy and stuck around after they became established. That kind of longevity doesn’t happen by accident. It happens because people call us back, refer their neighbors, and trust us to show up when we say we will.
Real Stories from Real Neighbors
Last spring, we helped a couple in Sellwood clear out their late father’s property. It was emotional work, not just physical. They needed someone who understood that not everything in that pile was junk… some of it was memories. We took our time, helped them sort through what mattered, and made sure anything donatable found a good home. That’s the kind of service you get when you work with people who actually live in this community.
We’re not perfect, but we try to do right by every customer. Simple as that.

Being family owned matters more than you might think. When you call us, you’re not getting some faceless corporation that answers to shareholders in another state.
