When life gets overwhelming, your property shouldn't add to the stress.
I’ve been doing this work around Forest Grove for about three decades now. And here’s what I’ve learned: cleanouts are never really just about hauling stuff away. It’s bigger than that.
Last month I helped this family over on Main Street. They’d been avoiding their dad’s old workshop for almost two years after he passed. I get it. There’s the emotional side of things, sure. But there’s also just the sheer amount of work involved when you’re looking at decades worth of tools and equipment and memories all mixed together. That’s the real job, honestly. Giving people their space back so they can actually move forward with things.
Maybe you’re dealing with an estate cleanout situation. Or you’ve got a rental property near Pacific University that needs to be ready for new tenants. Could be that garage you haven’t parked in since, I don’t know, back when the Farmer’s Market was still at the old location. Whatever it is, Metro Junk Solutions can help. We’re family owned, been here since 1995, and we treat every property like it matters. Because it does.
Our cleanout services here in Forest Grove go way beyond just removing junk. We handle the heavy lifting, the sorting, making sure everything gets disposed of properly. Sometimes people need debris removal after a renovation project. We do that too. From those beautiful old homes downtown to newer places out in Carnation and Sunset, we’ve pretty much seen it all. And we try to keep things straightforward, affordable, and as stress free as possible.
What Our Forest Grove Cleanout Services Include
Residential Property Cleanouts
We handle complete home cleanouts all over Forest Grove. Could be a single room, could be an entire house. Doesn't really matter to us.
If you're downsizing from a bigger family home near Fernhill Wetlands, or clearing out a rental between tenants, or getting an estate ready to go on the market, we manage the whole thing. Furniture, appliances, personal belongings, all the stuff that builds up over years of living somewhere. We sort through what can be donated, what gets recycled, and what needs proper disposal.
We've worked in everything from those old Craftsman homes downtown (you know the ones) to the newer developments off Highway 47. Tight staircases, narrow hallways, basements that haven't been touched in forever. Older Oregon homes come with their challenges, but that's fine. We know how to work around them.
Estate and Foreclosure Cleanouts
Estate cleanouts need a different touch. More sensitivity, I guess you'd say.
We've helped a lot of Forest Grove families get through this process over the years. From basement workshops to attic storage, we handle it all with care and discretion. Our team moves quickly because we know you're usually on some kind of timeline. Whether it's settling an estate, dealing with probate, or you just need to list the house soon, we get it done.
These projects carry emotional weight. We know that. We work respectfully with families during what's already a tough time.
Commercial and Garage Cleanouts
Business cleanouts are different because you can't just shut down for days on end. We've cleared retail spaces along Pacific Avenue, office buildings, storage units, commercial garages all across Washington County.
We work around your schedule. Evenings, weekends, whatever makes sense so your business keeps running.
Garage cleanouts? Those are interesting. You'd be amazed what accumulates over 20 or 30 years. Tools, equipment, yard waste, things people forgot they even owned. We tackle all of it.
How We Actually Do This
Our process isn’t complicated. We come out to your Forest Grove property and give you a free estimate right there. No games, just an honest upfront price. Then we schedule the cleanout whenever works for you.
Our crew shows up on time (I know, seems basic, but apparently that’s not a given these days). We handle all the heavy lifting and get most residential cleanouts done in one day. Then we haul everything away, sweep up after ourselves, and you’re left with a clean property. Ready for whatever comes next.
We’re a local family business. Built our whole reputation on fair pricing and just being honest with people. No surprise charges showing up later. No tricks. Just reliable cleanout services from people who’ve been part of this community for 30 years.
Our Forest Grove Service Area
We serve all of Forest Grove and the surrounding areas. That includes downtown and the Pacific University area, Carnation, Sunset, and Fernhill neighborhoods, the Highway 47 corridor and those outlying properties, plus nearby communities throughout Washington County.
Why Forest Grove Trusts Metro Junk Solutions
Three Decades of Local Service
We've been here since 1995. Actually here, in Forest Grove. Not some corporate office two states away.
Our family started this business right in this area, and yeah, we've watched the community grow and change. But we've stayed pretty consistent with how we do things. Fair pricing, honest work, treating every property like it's our own. We're not some national chain that sends random crews every time. You work with the same local team that's been serving Washington County all these years.
Real Results for Real People
Last spring we helped this retired teacher who lives near Tom McCall Upper Elementary. Her husband had passed away and left behind about 40 years worth of stuff in their garage and workshop. She looked at it all and just felt completely overwhelmed. Couldn't even figure out where to start.
We donated the usable tools to the high school's shop program. Everything else got disposed of properly. That's kind of the Metro Junk difference, if you want to call it that. We're part of this community, so we look for ways to give back when we can.
We've done hundreds of cleanouts around Forest Grove by now. Rental properties downtown, acreage properties way out on the edges of town, everything in between. Our reputation comes from showing up when we say we will, charging exactly what we quoted (not a penny more), and leaving places cleaner than people expect.
Licensed, Insured, and Local
We're fully licensed and insured, which protects your property and gives you actual peace of mind.
Unlike some of the unlicensed haulers you might see advertised, we follow proper disposal regulations. We recycle when it makes sense. Trying to keep Forest Grove beautiful for the next generation and all that.
Our team got it done in one afternoon.
